Being baptized in water is the outward action that signifies the life change that has occurred inside of us. After receiving the forgiveness of Jesus, and committing to follow Him, you should follow Jesus in being baptized in water.

At Freedom Christian Center, we celebrate it, not only as an ordinance of the church, but as a testimony of our past, sinful lives being gone and buried, and our new lives in Jesus beginning.

The action of being baptized in water is NOT sacramental. It, alone, does not remove sin, nor does it take the place of the grace offered by our Lord, Jesus Christ. However, Jesus commanded us to be baptized, and led by His own example of being baptized by immersion in water.
